My beautiful daughter

Acacia is at 8 month. Oh my.. Where did all my time go? I felt like I just gave a birth to her.  She is funny chubby cutie. She seems so different than Zion. My life got a little bit easier since she sleeps through the night and I figured out their schedule. Being a mom of 2 kids is just so different than I ever imagined. It really changes my life. They change me and they bring out so many things that is in me. But I never thought I have those thing in me before. They reflect more and more what God meant for our life on earth. Oh how great is that my God brings so much grace and much healing through my kids. Thank you Lord. Thank you.... You are good.. Truly..

One fine fall day

Zion, Acacia and I got to go to the farm for Grace's birthday. It was just beautiful day to enjoy what the fall can offer with the color and the harvests. We got to ride a hayride and ate grapes from the vine. Oh how much i missed this concord grape. I just thought about God's grace but nothing else with such gratitude.

Coffee Roasting

Who knew we will roast our own coffee beans. Justin started to do that and now it became my thing. I feel like I roast at least two times a week. We have been trying different beans from different region. The pic of coffee bean that I roasted is Brazilian. I would say it is not my favorite but I like it because it is fresh. It is crazy to think about that God created these coffee beans.

Zion turned 2

So... Zion is a big brother and he is 2years old now. I felt like I just gave a birth to him. Like any other child for their parents, he is so special to us. He is showing his personality more and more and starting to mimic words that we say. My hope and prayer for him is that he will just love Jesus above all things and live for Him. I love you so.

The Gift

Acacia turned 1 month. She is a perfect gift from God. Thank you Lord....

Spring and Zion

Yes, finally, Spring is here that I see colors around. Oh how pleasure in my eyes. Zion wants go out more. And he got a guitar from his grandpa. I realized it has been much fun to look at Zion since he is getting more expressive with his personality. He makes me smile everyday!

Katha my dear dear from Germany sent me a sweet package. Loved hand made special pants for Acacia, handmade olive oil soap, tea, chocolate and very special message on the card. Oh how much I miss her!

My dear friend Lisa sent this Bonsai tree from Arizona! What a surprise! Not sure actually she sent for my birthday or for Acacia's birth. But I am grateful to receive such plant and excited to think & to pray whenever I see it. She was my prayer partner for 3years from Moody Graduate school. And she is getting ready to go out for mission field with her husband. God is so good....

My beautiful Son

I am absolutely amazed every time I look at my son Zion what God has given me. It leads me to see God's beauty and His glory. I just want to pray for him. It's totally by grace that I could raise him to be a follower of Christ and to live to know His amazing love and to grow in reflection of His goodness more and more.

1 Samuel 1:26-26

Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for this treasured child of mine. Although you have entrusted him to me, I know he belongs to you. Like Hannah offered Samuel, I dedicate my child to you, Lord. I recognize that he is always in your care.

Help me as a parent, Lord, with my weaknesses and imperfections. Give me strength and godly wisdom to raise this child after your Holy Word. Please supply what I lack. Keep my child walking on the path that leads to eternal life. Help him to overcome the temptations in this world and the sin that would so easily entangle him.

Dear God, send your Holy Spirit daily to lead and guide him. Ever assist him to grow in wisdom and stature, in grace and knowledge, in kindness, compassion and love. May he serve you faithfully with his whole heart devoted to you. May he discover the joy of your presence through daily relationship with your Son, Jesus.

Help me never to hold on too tightly to this child, nor neglect my responsibilities before you as a parent. Lord, let my commitment to raise this child for the glory of your name cause his life to forever testify of your faithfulness.

Since Acacia

 Oh my goodness! I am kinda overwhelmed with the blessings that people has been given since Acacia is born. People from our church has deliver us a meal everyday. It is a very humbling experience to receive food from people. I feel spoiled. And I have already received so many gifts because of Acacia. One lady from our church made such a cute shoes and pants for Acacia. People are so talented!! I wish I could make such thing. We all as a family has been enjoying Acacia so much. I can't thank enough to God who has given us this precious child to our family to praise His name and to see His glory more and more. I am learning so much through this course of my life. God.. You are truly good! Thank you Thank you Thank you.....

He has risen!

It is not enough for us to think about what Christ has done for me even through out the year. I am so grateful for the Easter time to focus on the difference that Christ made because of His resurrection. My life is no longer under any bondage of sin but has been set free. I want to live a life that reflects the victory of Christ. How glorious it is to have that truth in my life! His grace is so rich that He was willing to cancel my sin through Christ. God gave me this verse for 2013 that I want to meditate over and over. Thank you Lord...
Galatians 2:20

I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

 

P.S. I got my tree back from Justin's mom. I had that tree since moody. It's still growing. Our Easter Sunday was very delightful with many different things. Zion has been a big helper for daddy carrying wood into the house. He is getting so big! Emma from David's Deli brought beautiful flower for Acacia and me. It is so beautiful. Thank you Emma.
