Christmas in China

My mom, Justin and I spent for 5days in Zhangjiajie, China. The place we went was absolutely awesome. It made me just praise who God is with His marvelous creation. The food & place that we stayed wasn't the best, we had very special Christmas this year with my beloved ones.

Kimchee for winter

When winter is here in Korea, we do make lots of kimchee at once to survive winter. It's called, "kimjang".

17weeks

Your baby's skeleton is changing from soft cartilage to bone, and the umbilical cord — her lifeline to the placenta — is growing stronger and thicker. Your baby weighs 5 ounces now (about as much as a turnip), and she's around 5 inches long from head to bottom. She can move her joints, and her sweat glands are starting to develop.

16weeks

Get ready for a growth spurt. In the next few weeks, your baby will double his weight and add inches to his length . Right now, he's about the size of an avocado: 4 1/2 inches long (head to rump) and 3 1/2 ounces. His legs are much more developed, his head is more erect than it has been, and his eyes have moved closer to the front of his head. His ears are close to their final position, too.

15weeks

Your growing baby now measures about 4 inches long, crown to rump, and weighs in at about 2 1/2 ounces (about the size of an apple). She's busy moving amniotic fluid through her nose and upper respiratory tract, which helps the primitive air sacs in her lungs begin to develop. Her legs are growing longer than her arms now, and she can move all of her joints and limbs. Although her eyelids are still fused shut, she can sense light. If you shine a flashlight at your tummy, for instance, she's likely to move away from the beam. There's not much for your baby to taste at this point, but she is forming taste buds. Finally, if you have an ultrasound this week, you may be able to find out whether your baby's a boy or a girl!

Moving again

We have to move out by today from where we are at. Life is very uncertain yet God is so certain. Praise God for that!

2nd Ultrasound-11wks

My Baby is now about as big as a fig, (Length: just over 1 1/2inch, 5.cm), head to bottom, is now almost fully formed. The doctor said everything is looking good and the baby's heart is beating normally. I had to take blood out for another test. I praise God for his wonderful work! Justin and I are just fascinating by what's happening inside of my stomach.

Saturday

Finally, Saturday arrived. Justin went out and helped clean around the building with the neighbors. So one of the ladies brought us sweet potatoes, grilled rice cake, songpyeon and pumpkin soup. It was delicious. I brought one huge fall leaf to our place when we took a walk near the han river. One last orchid flower remains from 6weeks ago. It was good to have no schedule. I needed to process what's going on with my life. There are so many things that I want to bring to God. He is so real and holy!

1year anniversary in Cambodia

I was amazed by God's perfect timing for this trip to Cambodia. We did not have any expectation since we did not plan. We both were so encouraged, filled and refreshed by this trip. Praise God for my marriage. I am so thankful for how God orchestrated all things that we will experience His goodness and holiness!

When God opens the womb..

music in my heart?

"Sing to the Lord with thanksgiving;
make music to our God on the harp.
He covers the sky with clouds;
he supplies the earth with rain
and makes grass grow on the hills.
He provides food for the cattle
and for the young ravens when they call.
His pleasure is not in the strength of the horse,
nor his delight in the legs of a man;
the LORD delights in those who fear him,
who put their hope in his unfailing love.
Psalm 147:7~11

I have been convicted about my heart. There was no singing with thanksgiving and music to my God in my heart. I don't know when was the last time I truly made music for who God is in my heart. My heart has been very cold and just hanging in this reality of my life. I was sad that I was focus on what I feel and what I have instead who God is and what kind love he has been pouring out to me. It's crazy that the Lord delights in us who fear him, who put our hope in his unfailing love. When was the last time I made music in my heart for his unfailing love?

Orchids

Justin brought me Orchids to the office. It made me so happy and they are so beautiful. I decided to keep it there since I could look at it all day long. We went out for pizza that made in stone oven. It was delicious and also spaghetti.
