Chicago outing
Wow... What a opportunity I had on Wed. Thanks to Andrea. She took Zion for all day. So I could go to Chicago with Justin. He had to go there for work and I wanted to go with him. He dropped me off in the downtown. So that I could walk around the city and enjoy my day of outing Chicago. And I got to see my friend Sarah. It was kinda short time with her but so blessed to see. How much I missed Chicago! It snowed and rained all day yet I had a fun. Some reason, God brought me with the season in the country living of Michigan for now. I am learning different things in life that I am thankful even though I love city and miss city living. I believe that God's great purpose is far greater than my desire. He will take me to the place where I will be more close to Him.
p.s. surprising to find kimchi stuff at Trader Joe's. I guess Korean food is getting popular.

My Feburary....
I felt like my days are so repeating. Zion demands me so much to keep up with him each day. My life became so simple. I have to cook to bring some food on the table each day for my family and entertaining Zion all day. The life that God has given me is a mystery. I felt like I lost excitements and certain dreams. God brought me with the season that I know Him differently. He shows me Himself differently. I never imagined my life will be where I am now. One thing is clear that God never change. He was the same all along with my life. I just pray that I will continually seek Him in the way He wants me and to know him better even though my circumstances completely changed. Zion brings me such a joy each day. I finally finished the hat for my baby girl. Zion and I made the crown today at the story time. Again, I never imagined my life will be like this. It is the life that God has given me to see His glory and to desire His glory....

$1 Plant
I found this pretty plant for $1 at the sawyer garden center. There is something about green plants. It's like a new life. It's like seeing God makes us grow. He is patient. He is keep providing things that we need and pouring His love and goodness. It is also God who points everything to Himself and makes us to praise Him. Is that so wonderful?

Sam Gae Tang
I have been craving for Sam Gae Tang which is a popular food during the summer time in Korea. It was my first time trying to make this dish. I found some ingredient at the Korea market. It turned out pretty good.

Happy Valentine's day
Ok. Now I am on my 34weeks. It feels my 2nd pregnancy is going faster than my 1st pregnancy. Today, I felt so tired and sick that I just wanted lay down all day. Justin has been working late the last few days. Even though we are not doing anything today yet my heart is content. I was thinking about the true love that we have in Jesus. It overwhelms me to think about the love that He poured out for me. So that I could truly live and love others even myself. There is no love that I can compare with the love of God through Jesus Christ. It seems it made everything possible with my life. Because His love, I could be in Marriage, I could be a wife, a mom, a daughter, a sister, a friend and a neighbor.
7 Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 9 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 10 This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. 11 Dear friends, since God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12 No one has ever seen God; but if we love one another, God lives in us and his love is made complete in us.

God knows...
For the daybreak, we did something little different at the end. We wrote in the piece of paper whatever we want to ask God or even our fuss like in Malachi and put it in the balloon and then we let it go to God. God knows our hearts and seasons. He still lets us argue with Him. He gently lowers our white knuckled fists with His nail-scarred hands. Then, like God's children before us, we stop fussing when we see the compassion in our Father's eyes.
My days with Zion are very repetitive. Yet I can't stop amazed by how God has given him as my boy. It's also continually reflects my relationship with my heavenly Father. It's a mystery.

Daybreak study
This term for Daybreak study is on the book of Malachi. And we are going through the book by Lisa Harper. She puts Malachi as the love that never lets go. I am excited about what God will teach me through this study. It is such a good reminder again how His love and mercy are so amazing.
The end of my personal study time, it was good to end with meditating Isaiah 55:8-9,
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord.
“As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts."
And Isaiah 49:11,
I will turn all my mountains into roads,
and my highways will be raised up.

Date Night
Finally, We got to go out!!! It has been a while since we had a date night. Justin got a gift certificate for his birthday last year for this restaurant in Fennville, MI. We didn't have time to go or maybe didn't have someone to watch Zion. Anyway, it was such a good time with my husband and with their food. The food was amazing. It was satisfying even with the wood fire toasted s'more dessert that we had at last. It was such a treat for me. Thank you Lord for allowing us to have a sweet evening.
p.s. photos by iphone since I didn't have my camera with me.

Joe & Emma
We had our friends Joe & Emma over for dinner. This couple runs David's deli in downtown New Buffalo. It has been fun to get to know them from our town. They brought very unique candle holder and very good chocolate that are from single origin. It was very a delightful night with our two guests.

For my baby girl
So, I wanted to make something for my baby girl. It has been a while that I have done crochet. Maybe it's about 15 or 20 years ago. And I never made hat before. It's been challenging. But I really like doing it. Zion's head was helping me to measure the size of hat that I was trying to make it for my baby girl. Actually, I made it too big that I had to untie a few times. It brought me such a joy to make something for someone and it was very a good work for this season while I am staying at home all the time. There is such beauty for waiting the baby to come out and for participating our time together. Even better if I can have just baked homemade blueberry muffin. Yummy!
