Little hands

It has been interesting to watch how baby use their little hands. It is so vital part of the body to function for the whole body. Zion is using his little hands to stand up, to make a balance,  to move around, to grab things seem interested to him, to hold things and to put everything into his mouth. I love his little hands. So I kiss his little hands so much. Pray that His hands will be used for prayer and for serving His almighty God and others.

Nothing

I am humbled again for how God speak through His truth. On a Saturday morning, God spoke to me through 1Cor. 2:9 which is,
"No eye has seen,
No ear has heard,
No mind has conceived
What the Lord has prepared for those who love Him."
while I was doing my devotion. And then, I got to hear the same verse in the evening while I was listening a sermon of Fancis Chan. God made me cry as He revealed His truth about that no one can even imagine what He has prepared for His children. I was just crying and overwhelmed by His amazing love. He comforted me and confirmed me again what kind of hope that I have in Him in a daily basis. Even more crazy things continued as I went to Church next day for worship. I cried again in worship. Christy wrote a new worship song. The song was about the mystery revealed from Colossians 1. And the song has the same words of No eye, No ear and No mind knows what God has prepared for those who love Him. God is speaking again and again that I need to have hope in what He has prepared for me. I need to Trust in Him, Dwell in His land, Enjoy His safe pasture, Take delight in Him, Commit my way to Him, Be still before Him and Wait patiently for Him. God truly is living God who speaks with such power and life. I praise Him with all my heart.

picture- I realized I love April blossoms. Heavenly Father, Thank you for showing your grace through this flower tree in my walk with Zion.

Born to be loved

It's Chelsea's birthday. She is Justin's youngest sister. He requested me to make a birthday card for her. God blessed me more in the process of making it as I prayed for her. Prayed that God will draw her to Himself, so that she will receive such blessing, hope and peace through Christ.

Zion is really showing more and more his own personality. So I am enjoying him more as a person. I pray that He will grow in the knowledge of the truth to make a difference for Christ.

Along the way

It is crazy to think about how God displays all things that I see so perfectly according to his pleasure. He knew what I will see along the way in my walk with Zion everyday. He sets up my circumstances according to His righteous & holy purpose. Then, why don't I just trust God and enjoy and praise Him more. I am so weak in faith and often walk by sight.
Psalm 37:3-7
Trust in the Lord and do good;
    dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
Take delight in the Lord,
    and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Commit your way to the Lord;
    trust in him and he will do this:
He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn,
    your vindication like the noonday sun.
Be still before the Lord
    and wait patiently for him;

Color of clay

Finally, I got to bring all the clay back. It was a lot. I think I made the most stuff than other people from the class. It looked very different after it got glazed. Actually, I was little disappointed with some of them. It didn't turn out right since the glaze was old and bad. But I enjoyed the whole process of making things out of clay! Justin was asking one by one for the usage. I felt like all has potential for something.

34th Anniversay of living

 I found this flower in the living room with the sweet birthday note on my birthday morning. Justin and Zion went out while I was still sleeping. He took me to Chicago and stayed the night at a hotel(The James). Zion was taken care by the family from our church. Actually, I got to stop nursing him since my birthday. I had a great time in Chicago with friends. Justin made my birthday very special for sure. I can't believe that I turned 34. Because my heart still says I am 24. But I see more and more how big God is and how small I am as I get older. I take serious about God and less about things that not connect to Him & the Gospel. It is by God's grace that I am who I am. I am eternally thankful for what God has done and been doing in my life. God is SO interested in build my character to be more like Christ. I am so excited what God has for me this year even though it is actually HARD to go through. My prayer for this year is like the prayer of Jabez...
"Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and that You would keep me from evil."(1Chronicles 4:9-10)

When Little girl become a beautiful lady

She has been my forever baby sister since we are 7 years apart. She has been definitely a huge part of my life. God blessed me and my life through her in so many different ways. It has been a joy to see how God's hand has been working in her life. I pray that God continually bless her in every ways to grow and to know Him better. Happy Birthday Shin!

Daily Bread

Chicken salad that I made so good. Recently, I have been really appreciating about "Food" which is so crucial for our daily living. This century that I live in, most likely food is so common thing for most people. It is just expected to have and eat. Since I eat often times alone, I felt like I interact with food more as I cook and eat. It just gives me a different perspective on LIFE. Not only it gives me a different flavor but also it keeps me go on my living. How crazy is that. God created me and created things to keep me alive and to give me pleasure. Then it is a gift. The fact that I could eat and taste all kinds of food and gain energy to live a life God intended, it is a worship. It makes me to give God the glory as I eat. Jesus taught us how to pray to God. It awakes me with "Give us daily bread" in Matthrew 6:11. Why? Who prays like that these days? It is God who provides every single meal for us to eat. I often take things for granted. I am eternally grateful for not only He constantly provides my daily very needs for my physical need but only he provided true LIFE bread Jesus for my soul. He is truly the living God who provides my daily bread.

5 “And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. 6 But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. 7 And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. 8 Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.
   9 “This, then, is how you should pray:
   “‘Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,

10 your kingdom come,

your will be done,

   on earth as it is in heaven.

11 Give us today our daily bread.

12 And forgive us our debts,

   as we also have forgiven our debtors.

13 And lead us not into temptation,

   but deliver us from the evil one.

With Style

I don't know where Zion learned how to hold things. Justin and I were laughing hard for a while as we saw him holding his carrot with such style.

Good Friday

I stand a few feet from a mirror and see the face of a person who failed,... who failed her Maker. Again. I promised I wouldn't, but I did. I was quiet when I should have been bold. I took a seat when I should have taken a stand. My eyes look in the mirror and see a sinner, a failure, a promise-breaker. But by faith I look in the mirror and see a child of God through Christ who died for my sin. My eyes see my faults. My faith sees my Savior. My eyes see my guilt. My faith sees His blood.

"Christ's love is greater than anyone can ever know, but I pray that you will be able to know that love." (Ephesians 3:19)

p.s. Thanks to my husband, Justin who brought me this such beauty to enjoy and worship my Savior who created all things for His glory.

It's Time for a cup of tea

Is it a sign of getting really old? I enjoy more and more of finding a quite place and seek God and the peace that is from the truth. I am blessed to have a cup of tea when I can find a time to do it. It is so enjoyable even with if there is any baked stuff. I made Almond Biscotti which is from Grangran's recipe. Thanks to Carrie who brought raw green bush tea for me. Thanks to Justin who brought this beautiful humble flowers from the yard outside. God is allowing me to have a simple joy from all around me. Yet isn't His amazing love through Christ enough for me and my life?

"But I am like an olive tree flourishing in the house of God; I trust in God’s unfailing love for ever and ever." (Psalm 52:8)

Piano Guy

It is a little curiosity for me to know what kind of things that Zion will be into. He seems enjoying music as all the babies do. Recently, he likes playing piano and maybe singing?
